I am offering a summer DAY RETREAT at Francis Asbury Society on Saturday, July 13th from 9am-5pm. Registration is open.

Let's take a little holy pause together....time to pause and notice God's gentle whispers.
No matter if you have extended time to simply be and pause or you have moments of running kids to various activities, sports, church or have a busy work schedule....God invites us to fix our gaze on Him and invite Him in to our ordinary moments.
Pause....Who is God inviting you to pay attention to today? A family member, a friend, an enemy, an acquaintance at the store, your children, spouse, your neighbor. I am not sure who it is for you. Who keeps crossing paths with you?
Pray....Lord, I ask for wisdom. How can I pray for this person? What are you inviting me to notice about them? Are you inviting me to spend some time with them listening and sharing your love with them? Are you inviting me to share the Good News with them and how you have made a difference in my life?
Follow....Take those steps towards obedience to actually do what God is inviting you to do? When we follow, oh, it might be the hardest you have ever done, but God is the one who does the work in another's life. We get the privilege of joining Him where He already is.
Many people are lonely, hurting, grieving and they are in need of a touch from Jesus and maybe He is inviting you to be that person. They might need to know you see them and so does Jesus. Showing up for another is a gift.

I would love to chat about joining you in your story. Sometimes we need another to help us see God when we are having a hard time seeing Him at work in us and around us. As a spiritual director, I am honored to walk with others and allow God to direct, lead and guide. He is the director! We are companions on this journey to knowing Him more!
