What is a spiritual retreat?  

A retreat draws us into God’s presence and Communion with Him!

 

A time to come away from the busyness of life to be with God. It is an intentional space for group reflection, silence, solitude to be in God’s presence and experience His deep love in meaningful ways. This is where our soul can receive what it needs so that we can be the person God has created us to be. Jesus modeled this rhythm in his own life. He practiced being with His Father away from the noise and busyness. During this time, I will facilitate and lead the individual or group in spiritual practices.

Emilie Griffin says in her book, ‘Wilderness Time’, “Retreat offers us grace to be ourselves in God’s presence without self-consciousness, without masquerade. Retreat provides the chance to be both physically and spiritually refreshed.  It is the blessed opportunity to spend time generously in the presence of God. In such a time, God helps us to empty ourselves of cares and anxieties, to be filled up with wisdom that restores us.”

 

What would a facilitated retreat look like?

I would meet with the individual, group, or team leader to create a plan for our time together. I will provide guided reflection based on your group's needs. I will provide the space for group time and then time in silence and solitude and coming back together to process in small groups.

Who is a retreat for?

I provide a retreat for an individual, group of friends, life groups, families, ministry teams, business teams, non-profit organizations. Retreats are for anyone! I can come to you or provide the space needed or host over zoom. 

 

Is there a fee?

Depending on the size of the group and the group’s needs, we can discuss a fee at our first meeting. It will depend on needs and group size.
